In Collaboration With

From the very beginning, this project has been a collaborative effort between many organizations from across Illinois —and beyond. We are grateful to all who have supported this project. if you haven’t had a chance to join in yet…

 Here’s what you can do!

  • What does freedom mean to you? Make sure your voice is heard. Mark your calendar. Plan to attend. Be an active participant in The Four Freedoms and beyond discussions.

Bring friends. Encourage colleagues and association members to join in. Give somebody a ride.

Join the conversation on social media by following us on Facebook and Instagram and share, share, share — with friends, family, and colleagues.

Sign up for our newsletter to follow what we’re doing around town and in the news.

  • Most important of all: Tell us what you think.

Everyone has their own distinct vision of freedom. What is yours? Put your thoughts into words or any other form of art and send your ideas and perspectives to submissions@fourfreedomsandbeyond.com.

Volunteer. Bake a pie (really!) or help provide food. Offer to facilitate a small group discussion. Help set up and clean up.

Get your tickets early for the Grace Theater event Saturday, May 21. Can’t come? Sponsor tickets for a family, a class, or a group.

  • Use this exercise as an engaging, interactive in-class activity (25-40 Min.) We also have a lesson plan available and a list of classroom resources.

With your student’s permission, share their writing with us by taking a picture, scanning, or emailing the file to submissions@fourfreedomsandbeyond.com. We support student voices!

Student writing will be featured in our newspaper insert, at the Grace theater and following events, and in our forthcoming zine of poetry and artwork.

Help find writers, thinkers, artists, and active citizens to get involved. Contact us.

  • Become an Official Partner and have your business or organization’s logo in media that covers the entire region.

Sponsor a section of the 8-page educational supplement to the Ottawa Times, News Tribune, and Bureau County Republican in July.

Contact Pam Marsh at pmarsh@bcrnews.com at 815-303-4687.

Make a direct contribution to Midwest Partners.

Underwrite an event, award, or activity.

  • Create! We are looking for original work depicting your vision of freedom. Just as Rockwell and Meiners created their own versions of FDR’s four freedoms, we want everyone to share in that vision.

Submit your ekphrastic poetry, digital art, paintings, sketches, or other media to submissions@fourfreedomsandbeyond.com
